A Plus Market for
Melbourne Fashion Festival
Join us on Sunday 5 March for an A Plus extravaganza at the Queen Victoria Market, as part of the Paypal Melbourne Fashion Festival! That’s right, we’re large, in charge and we’re taking over a shed at Queen Vic to bring you size inclusive brands, preloved fashion from the community, plus jewellery, art and other goodies. Oh, and snacks of course.
We’re so thrilled to participate in the 2023 Paypal Melbourne Fashion Festival’s Fashion Culture Program, and to bring you the biggest, boldest, baddest and chunkiest A Plus Market to date. Community, sustainability and breaking the fast fashion cycle will be high on the agenda.
What’s the entry fee?
The entry fee for this event is $5 on the door, or pay as you can. We don’t turn anyone away, and there’s no questions asked if you can’t sling us any cash right now.

Should I bring cash or card?
Both! Many preloved sellers will only accept cash for their sweet bargains, and most of our brands will offer both card payments and cash. If you get stuck, there’s an ATM on site at the Queen Vic Market and you could also chat with stallholders about bank transfers or PayID.
What’s the deal with parking and public transport?
There are two different parking lots at Queen Vic Market, and you can find all the details on their website here. Parking is $6/hr for the first two hours, then $4 for each additional hour. You might also like to do some Googling to find other street parking nearby. The entrance to A Plus will be from Peel Street.
Queen Vic Markets is in a fabulously easy spot if you’re taking public transport - depending on where you’re coming from you can grab a tram, train or bus.
Where exactly will A Plus be?
Here’s a lil map for you! We’ll be hanging out in sheds C and D, entry from Peel Street only. You’ll see our signs and our front desk crew as you walk down Peel Street. There’s ATMs and toilets nearby, and you can do your fruit and veg shopping after. Chef’s kiss.
What are your COVID protocols?
Yup, Covid is still very real - we’re not big fans! We’ll have masks and hand sanitiser at our front desk when you enter the market shed, and on tables where the food trucks are. If you are feeling unwell on or during the lead-up to market day, or if you’ve been exposed to Covid, we ask that you please stay home to keep our team and community safe. We’ll see you next time!
